The Ågelsjön Hatchet (formerly known as Jonaker) is a compact, versatile tool designed for carving, light chopping, and camp tasks. Its hand-forged blade delivers precise, clean cuts, making it ideal for detailed work and outdoor use. Despite its small size, the hatchet feels balanced and responsive, offering excellent control for one-handed swings. The 1 lb. head with its approximately 2.9” long cutting edge is paired with a 9.4" curved American hickory handle for comfort and durability. Crafted from high-quality Swedish steel at Hults Bruk, this hatchet combines traditional craftsmanship with lasting reliability. Its main applications are woodworking, carving, light chopping, and camp work.
